Shepherd of the Ocean is awhimsical comedy about Sir Walter Raleigh and Queen Elizabeth I and takes placemoments before Sir Walter Raleigh’s execution. He has been sentenced to bebeheaded by King James I of Englandon a charge of treason. King James I succeeded Queen Elizabeth to the Englishthrone. At the time of his death, Sir Walter Raleigh was in his 60’s and QueenElizabeth had been dead for 15 years. The show is produced by Elizabeth R andCompany.
