The North Carolina Turnpike Authority has published atimeline for the
construction of the Mid-CurrituckBridge on their website. They have
scheduled the FinalEnvironmental Report to be completed in May of 2009, to
award the constructionproject in October of 2009 and to open the bridge in
the fall of 2013. There may still be a snag or two that couldhold this
project up but having a timeline from this governmental body is astep
